Our independent label, INDICA RECORDS, exists to be a home for artists. We aren't just a platform that releases songs, but strive to be an ecosystem that supports our artists with their music, identity, storytelling, visuals, live performances and long term career trajectory.
Our approach is based in our ethos of building and promoting artists who create fresh and powerful music as we continue to shed light on the dearth of talent in India and the subcontinent.

LAUNCHPAD
More Than Just Distribution
So you've got your music ready. You want to put it out into the world. But how? There are a number of distribution platforms out there, and yes, they will all ensure your music is out on virtually every platform you'd want, but is there more?
We understand that simply having your music available on the internet is just one of the many steps you need to take to give people access to your art. You want to reach as many of the right people as possible, and you want to do it in a way that's relevant to you as an artist; enter LAUNCHPAD.
Not only do we assist artists with all the basics so that their music is available online, but we spend time with them building a marketing plan, playlist pitches, a clear artist identity, and providing access to our network where necessary. Nobody else does this.
ORBIT
ORBIT is our creative education initiative that is divided into two parts:
ORBIT Junior is for young learners, which encourages exploration and experimentation across artforms. While we are aware that different artforms require different forms of technical understanding, the core of our approach allows learners to find out what excites them and how all the different parts of a creation come together. Our approach gets learners enthusiastic about collaboration and authentic communication as they discover more about themselves and, in turn, see the value that each person brings to a creative endeavour.
The senior ORBIT program functions as a finishing school for musical artists. These artists have the talent, the hard work and the potential but need some guidance some aspects to function as "actualised artists." We provide technical coaching based on a specific artist's needs (be it vocals or songwriting for instance) and also dive deeper into developing an artist's identity, visual palette as well as artistic and business goals.
